Over the last 12 years, Andrew Mills has held positions such as "L3 Firewall Technician" and "Corporate Business Manager" before landing in security consulting and corporate security engineering. He is known for running security programs that people don't dread interacting with, which is a lower bar than it should be. He once solved an internal hardware theft by cross-referencing Wi-Fi logs with security camera footage like Columbo, if Columbo's big reveal was a Meraki dashboard.

Andrew believes that Security professionals have a moral imperative to advocate for the rights of their users — including customers, partners, employees and all users of their services. He gives free security awareness trainings to friends, family, and nonprofits, and 1Password is always in the slide deck.

Andrew currently serves as Corporate Security Engineer for Trail of Bits and lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and three cats.
